Undoubtably since the COVID-19 pandemic took place the intrinsic value of having quality green open spaces accessible to all has been demonstrated to the wider population. Landscape Architecture is about applying highly specialised skills to the design of environments at diverse scales through careful modification of materiality according to principles, ethics, theory, history, evidence, linked to creative problem solving, imbued with imagination that enable conditions which benefit people, communities, plants, and animals. Here at QUT explore and celebrate with us the outstanding design works of our 2020 graduates. Informed by the real-world practice, encounter various transformative solution that transcend the contemporary human condition and push conceptual boundaries no matter if they relate to open green spaces or urban spaces, while they protect and celebrate nature on land, water, and air.
